Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Welcome to the official website of Holy City Church of God in Christ! It is our hope that this site will provide you with helpful information about our church, and that after visiting with us virtually, you will be inspired to come and worship with us, literally. Holy City Church of God in Christ was founded on July 24, 1998. Though physically located in Connecticut, we are a member congregation of the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Vermont. Our Jurisdictional Prelate is the Honorable Bishop Ivory W. Holden and our State Supervisor is the esteemed Mother Lillian E. Gray. We can be found worshipping and praising God at 1475 Noble Avenue, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Sunday School begins at 12:30 p.m., Sunday worship service begins at 2:00 p.m., and our Friday Night Bible Study begins at 8:00 p.m. All are welcome! |

Vision. We are serious
about the Lord’s business. We are asking God to bless us with
a rich harvest of new saints, as we reach out to lost souls. We are
looking to fill every pew with souls that are hungry for a relationship
with God. That is our Vision.
A Purpose. Our reason for being, our number one goal, our primary objective is to lead men, women and children to the salvation of Jesus Christ. We have no bigger goal. We have no greater priority. Nothing is more important. That is our Purpose. A Plan. Through the tireless work of our Missions and Evangelism departments, and other vehicles of ministry, Holy City is on the front lines of the battlefront in the greater Bridgeport community, actively tending to the spiritual and natural needs of God’s people.
